Badminton Physical & Mental Benefits
Did you know that a badminton player can cover twice the distance covered by a tennis player in the same duration of play? Most people taking up badminton are surprised at how intense the game can get.
Badminton places both physical and mental demands on the players.
In training and competition, the body is asked to push physical limits of endurance, power, speed, and strength. Similarly, the mind is asked to push mental barriers, such as focus, composure, and determination. A study looking at the impact of individual sports on mortality found racquet sports reduced the risk of death by around 47%.
Many of our current students actively participate in local, regional, and international tournaments. We list a few players who are internationally and nationally well-known.
